Garden for hospital complex

Our contribution to this project involved consulting on the landscaping aspects. The building project for the new paediatric hospital in Cisanello was strongly related to the surrounding landscape since the structure faces one of the eastern city gates, adjacent to what would become the urban park of Cisanello. For this reason, the relationship between the building and the park, which almost seems to come inside the building, was carefully studied during the drafting of the project. The design of the space in the hospital’s internal courtyard was strongly influenced by the flanking green space in terms of both the vegetation chosen and the pathways created.
