About This Project

The Flying Garden was borne of an interaction between artists and architects whose combined experience helped develop this location, which extends across 8000 square metres (26,000 square feet). The goal was to create a large land-art park for children. The grounds were designed as a large “workshop” in which installations transform into objects of play. Our task was to create a green space that could both accommodate the artists’ works and be a hospitable, welcoming place for children to experiment, discover and play.
